Jack Huguelet was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Except for the four years spent at Northwestern University, where he received a BA in Economics, Jack has lived his entire life in the Chattanooga area and surrounding mountains. Jack also has an MBA from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a concentration in both Marketing and Finance.
Jack’s father was an attorney and an FBI Agent during WWII and the Cold War years that followed. Late in life, retired Special Agent Huguelet developed Alzheimer’s. Although he never revealed any secrets from his FBI days and work in counter-espionage, he was the inspiration for this novel.
While Jack has traveled many parts of the world—North America, Europe, and Asia—there is no place that he would rather be than in the gentle mountains and forests of East Tennessee, where he currently lives with his wife, a pair of Golden Retrievers, and a cat.
